We got married at Kingshouse in December and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The day from start to finish was perfect. Thank you so much to Lee who coordinated the day. Nothing was too big of an ask and Lee went above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect day. A special thanks to the amazing and incredibly helpful Gemah who supported us in planning our day from start to finish. Everything about our day was fantastic, the staff were friendly, the food was amazing and the views were just stunning. The perfect venue for your special day. Looking forward to returning next year to celebrate our anniversary. Would recommend Kingshouse hotel to anyone getting married in future.

We got married here last week and it was everything we dreamed of. We didn’t have chance to visit before the big day so we took a bit of a gamble. From check in to check out everyone was so attentive. We’d had excellent communications from coordinator Gemah in the lead up to the wedding. She created a really good list of everything you need to sort out and drafts a timeline for you Once we arrived day of coordinator Lee met up with us the night before to go over details over complimentary drink. We were very stressed about the weather forecast but the hotel were flexible with us getting married early to avoid the rain. The wedding breakfast food was probably the best beef I’ve ever had in my life and the best fondant potato too! The wine was gorgeous. Our bartender Nick brought immaculate vibes to our wedding! Breakfast was also fantastic. Everyone enjoyed their complimentary Gin and Tonics in the room. We saw the deer everyday we were there and one even posed for a photo. The view out of the signature suite was to die for. Couldn’t have been happier with how the wedding went! I would recommend getting married here to anyone! It was perfect. We will definitely be back for anniversary trip or two in the future.

Amazing hotel! The restaurant is top notch as well. Located in an unbeatable spot, the rooms were fairly standard hotel rooms but the magic of staying in Glencoe made it worth every penny. Greeted by the wild friends, we were made to feel welcome from the start. I’d stay here again! Beds were slightly hard by American standards but everything else was wonderful.

Stayed for 3 nights was an amazing experience. Can't fault anything. Wonderful service by the staff. Alice and Ailsa on reception were great. Restaurant staff were so professional and it was such a great atmosphere, the staff Michael, Ronald, Lauren, Jaroslav, Chelsea, Nicolas, and Liam were really welcoming and excellent service by all. Kai, George and Kyle on the bar made some great cocktails, and gave great recommendations. Food was amazing in particular the venison we had in the restaurant and the desserts we had were delicious, compliments to the kitchen staff. Room was clean and tidy and freshly stocked with everything I needed. Amazing location beautiful, scenery and wildlife. 5 stars would recommend a stay

Kingshouse felt special to me in a quiet, unexpected way. On our first afternoon, the wind and rain were sweeping across Glencoe. I sat by the window watching the mountains fade in and out of mist, feeling completely wrapped in the landscape. Outside was wild and dramatic; inside was warm wood, soft light, and the gentle crackle of the fireplace. What I liked most is that the luxury here isn’t polished or showy. It feels grounded — very Scottish. The stone fireplace, the timber beams, even the mounted stag above the hearth all add to that sense of place. It doesn’t feel like a hotel trying to impress you. It feels like it belongs exactly where it stands. At one point we saw red deer near the entrance, just calmly grazing. That moment made everything feel real — this isn’t staged scenery, it’s actual Highland wilderness. Dinner in the restaurant was relaxed and lively, full of hikers and travelers warming up after a long day. The steak was excellent, the coffee genuinely good, and the atmosphere felt easy and unpretentious. As someone visiting from abroad, this stay felt uniquely Scottish to me — dramatic outside, intimate inside. It’s the kind of place I’ll remember not just for the view, but for how it made me feel.

Stayed on Friday 30/1/26. The restaurant food was excellent and good value for money! The staff made such an effort for my partner's birthday with a few special touches. Extra shout-out to Kai and the rest of the team for their attentive service through dinner. A relaxing atmosphere throughout. Cheers team!.

Officiating a wedding a few days ago I found the staff very friendly, welcoming & very attentive. This is the first wedding venue I have worked in(and I have done a fair few) that offered me a tea while waiting on the bridal party & was told hubby, who had dog with him, was more than welcome to come in with our dog and sit in the reception area if he wanted. Staff were excellent in preparation & throughout wedding & were quick off the mark in moving chairs and things when plans were changed to an outside rather than inside wedding. Its a relaxed, stunning venue making folk feel at home that I saw.

We have just returned from a 3 day New Year Celebration at The King House Hotel. What a fabulous time we all had. From arrival to leaving the service was absolutely outstanding with and every staff member playing their part in making this a wonderful trip. The food over the three days was incredible. It was high quality, beautifully presented and delicious. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable and the hotel has stunning views throughout. The hotel had great wheelchair access allowing my brother in law to fully participate in the many New Year activities organised by the staff including whisky tasting, cookery demonstration and quiz. Before leaving we got to see the beautiful stags who had wandered into the car park. We were even sent on our way with a little goody bag to keep the hunger at bay! Can’t wait to return many thanks to the manager who was always at hand and of course all the staff for a wonderful experience. I could not recommend this hotel (and especially the New Year Event) highly enough. Esme Cochrane
